Susquehanna Priorities
To change a life is a powerful thing; to build a future, equally so. To do these things well requires significant contributions of time, talent, and resources. Susquehanna University has been blessed for many years to receive so much from its community, and yet in this competitive and challenging world, demand is high and ongoing. Changing Lives, Building Futures seeks to raise $70 million by 2010 in new resources to support endowment and program goals, construction of a new science facility, and financial aid for students. Yet Changing Lives, Building Futures is about much more than fund-raising. Its larger objective is to feed society a stream of difference-makers whose contributions serve to create stronger families, better communities, healthier organizations, and a more engaged citizenry. And we do this one student at a time. There are many ways you can have an impact. Changing Lives, Building Futures challenges us all to find a way that is meaningful to us. Change one life. Build one future. One donor, one volunteer, one advocate, one mentor, one internship sponsor, one host, one visitor... can do so much to reinforce our commitment that Susquehanna really is all about the student. New Science Building More advanced laboratory and teaching space will prepare students for careers in the ever-growing, critical science professions of the 21st century. Susquehanna University Fund Every year, the University Fund creates opportunities for students through the generous support of our alumni and friends. Scholarships Providing the means for a student to attend Susquehanna can be one of the most rewarding -- and life-changing -- ways to give. Strategic Plan Now more than ever, making connections both globally and locally is essential for sustaining the life of a university. Our Strategic Plan outlines how we will achieve that goal.
